Biodegradable Glitter is derived from sustainable and environmentally sourced raw materials produced and harvested to FSC standard. 
 
Biodegradable Glitter will not biodegrade on the shelf. Biodegredation will only be initiated in soil, compost or waste-water environments where micro-organisms are present.
 
The combination of heat, water and oxygen enable micro-organisms to effectively break it down.
